Today, finally get offday. Went to play pool with jonathan. He really can do unbelievable things in pool. u either laugh or u appreciate.. He did 2 things today which were unbelievable. The first one is a do-able thing in the future. he actually did a wonderful spin cue to escape a big snooker and score his 7 ball.. that was really nice.. the next one..haha... laugh my ass out.. it was unbelievable.. no one can ever do it in their life.. it was a wonderful shot that he actually cheat the near pocket which the 9 ball is parked and kick it into the double-last one with his cue..there goes the cue.. wonderful skill..
and he said..cannot believe michael also will have today..
but it was a fun day.. he trash me at 8 ball.. i thrash him at 9 ball

I realise something yesterday, When we are buying things, we usually take the sales person for granted. When they ask if we need any help, we say no. Usually, our reasons are that we can find our stuff on our own and that we feel uncomfortable with the sales guy around. But people, do u know how much effort is needed just to serve 1 customer? Furthermore, it takes alot of acting. What customers do not know is that the heads and executives are like spies. Virtually every other minute, sales promoters have to be on their toes.
They have to appear busy and have to constantly provide good service. When we decline their help, they have to find something else to do. It is not easy. They have to find something else to do like stock-taking, arranging items and etc. All these sounds easy but the problem is that have to do such things even though minutes ago, they have just finish it!!
And for 7-9 hours, they have to maintain that smile, greet almost every human they see. And its not just greeting. Your voice must be stereo and not monotone, must be cheerful.
And they have to take peppermints constantly. Water bottles are not allowed in the sales area. They only get to do such minor stuff during lunch hours. It is very easy for them to get fcuk by their bosses. All it takes is a second of slack. And their wages are so little. It's not that they have little to do or what. It's like we, customers, never appreciating their assistance. All we need to do is to give them a chance to help. They are more than willing to help. But why do we always stay far from them? Even if we buy the goods, they will still suffer. That's becuz we buy the goods, not they sold it. Selling means a sales promoter assisting the customer and guiding him all the way to the cashier so that the sales promoter is registered as selling the goods. This way, they will get their commission. Other than that, they virtually earn nothing.
Also, we also make things very hard for them by fooling them. we try many sizes and end up not buying them. That's very annoying. Do you know how difficult it is to stack boxes of shoes up high racks and searching for each shoe codes? It's not as easy as it seems. Sometimes, due to poor judgement or tiredness, they may put the wrong models into the wrong boxes. Sales really is hard.
Just bcuz we are buying products from them doesn't mean they must give us heavenly service. they tried to but we must co-operate with them and give them the chance. If not, all that ends up is we enjoying our things while they suffering. Let's not be selfish..

Today, 1st day went to work. had sales training at taka. the training was quite fun la.. a lot of animated people.
At times, it was also boring. But the best thing to happen was her. Stunning, beautiful, gorgeous. Wow, i'm blessed. and there's still 5 mths to go. Then after the training, went to watch late night movie with ric, charles and shiping at cineleisure. we watch happy feet. everyone really was happy, i tried to but i really really was half dead. i was super tired. and cannot believe it. i slept virtually thru the show..
got teased then.. i'm sorry guys.. the movie was gr8, just that i'm tired!!

Wow, this is my first post.. Went to job hunt with helmi to potong pasir. Wanted to go to levi for interview. How we know the office at potong pasir wulu wulu.. But then, surprisingly, the place quite easy to find. at Genting Lane. lol. walk around patrol kiosks to find it. and the building was right infront of us. yet, we still ask people for directions. and they keep telling us its right infront!!.. Dumb arses.. And then, go inside the levi building also very wulu, its like so fake. but wth, the interview that time, we take so long to fill in the interview sheet and helmi took 2 pieces just to make sure he fill in nice nice.. HAHA! and the interview less that 5 MINS!! the lady who interview us was like not interested to talk to us like that. And worse still, we worn cheapo attire go interview, it look like we going to shop houses like that.. Wrong shirts, wrong bottoms.. Heck la, then the interview wasn't good at all, so odd. And then we wander around outside the building after that. Hey, surprisingly, the first levi jeans to ever be made was very ordinary and teruk. Retro look. So after that, we went and walk around patrol kioks, we go caltex and buy curry puffs and choco milk and drink like we drunkyards and jobless like that. Guess, what they say about men without future is right after all. And we sat at the road curb and ate them. Passerbys were staring at us weirdly and a car even honk right infront of us.. and then we ran back to the MRT station thru the wrong way. It was raining and we were like kids, chasing and playin gin the rain. Losers!!
